Our Swim School Staff and Instructors
Chris: Paeroa Swim School Manager
I started as a volunteer swim teacher with the Ngatea Swim Club way back in 1988. After a move to Hamilton, I became a qualified swim teacher, working at Waterworld and Gallagher Aquatics, as well as coaching at a local club. I have also been involved in club and coach development for many years. I'm now looking forward to using my knowledge and passion, to create an environment where your children can feel safe, and develop confidence and water safety skills. |
Joan: Swim Teacher
Now my children have left home , I have returned to my sporting love, swimming. I am heavily involved in children's athletics, but have always had a love for swimming. I swam competitively in my earlier years and now would like to pass on my love of swimming to the next generation. I am enjoying the opportunity to improve the swimming ability and confidence of children in water and look forward to meeting your child. |
Natalie: Swim Teacher
I love being a swimming instructor as it is an amazing way of giving children self-belief, confidence to try new things and demonstrate to them that sport can be fun. As a child i took part in competitive swimming and therefore know how important it is to teach children the basic skills at an early age. Having the opportunity to witness children realise their potential is a gift of its own. |
